I love you Joshua!

Enjoying a nice Spring Afternoon

Yesterday, after the zoo and lunch, we came home. We did bubbles. Then Carson decided he wanted to start clearing the weeds out of the garden. (He is very excited to plant seeds and knows all that he wants to plant). I, who hates doing any type of yardwork, got the rake and helped him. Cooper and Emma helped alittle, but they had more fun with the worms. Carson worked so hard! He loved it. Then, when Grandpa got home we had a BBQ and played outside until it was just too cold. It was a great afternoon!

Zoo Day

Yesterday my Mom and I took the kids to the zoo. It was cold but the animals were so active. The polar bears and the new baby elephant were given snow to play in. The baby LOVED the snow. It was so cute!

100 Days

Today was Joshua 100th day in Iraq. Only 80 more days to go!!!!

We miss you!

Rain Games

The kids didn't let the rain stop them today. They played all morning outside in the pouring rain. Then they went and saw Monsters vs. Aliens. After they ate, they were back outside in the pouring rain playing!

Little Builders

Carson and Cooper have been building a shed with Grandpa. They have worked so hard the last 3 weekends. This weekend they worked on putting up new walls. They each had tool aprons, nails, pencil, and hammer. They were outside as soon as breakfast was over until it was dark. They didn't even let any of the rain showers slow them down! They love doing projects with Grandpa!

Go Blazers!

Thursday I went to the Blazer game with my brother Sean. It was a great game!

Africa Day

We went to the Forestry Center for Africa day. The boys learned how to play the drums. They all made masks and had a great time.

71st

Last night we celebrated Grandpa Dave's 71st Birthday!

Happy Birthday Grandpa!

Portland Art Museum

Yesterday I took the kids to the Portland Art Museum. We looked at paintings and then they each got to do a painting.

7 Kids 5 and under

Saturday, the kids helped Grandpa all day. Later, Gregory, Julia, and Jack came over to play and for dinner. There were 7 kids aged 5 and under here. It was so cute! Then, the boys made a mud puddle and played in it until it was dark. What a fun day!

Working Hard

The kids helped Grandpa outside for 3 straight days, from morning to night. They had so much fun!

Toughest Cowboy

Saturday night, my mom, brother, and I took the boys to the "Toughest Cowboy" rodeo at the Rose Garden. The boys had so much fun. They wore their cowboy hats the entire night. The cheered, danced, and said "Hee Yaw" all night. The band "Whiskey Falls" performed before and after the rodeo. The boys gave the band all high fives and one of the members gave them each a signed guitar pick. They thought that was pretty cool. I can't believe how much fun they had!!!! They loved it!!!!!
